The Adopt A Stream Program delivers a one-day training course to field crews associated with the program. Training covers Nova Scotia environment permits, restoration design, ecology of the watercourses, how restoration techniques improve watercourse health and supervised installation techniques. They also offer additional courses in culvert assessment for fish passage and fish habitat assessment protocol.
