Funding to support Indigenous peoples’ participation in the conservation and protection of fish and fish habitat.

The fund provides grants for action-oriented projects focused on ecosystem restoration of freshwater and riparian habitats, the species living within them and the collection of data for long-term monitoring initiatives.

Funds environmental work to protect local habitats and frontline communities through bold, original actions. Projects should focus on root causes of problems and commit to long-term change.
Patagonia World Trout Initiatives Guidelines
Funds efforts to restore and protect wild, self-sustainable trout, salmon and other freshwater and saltwater fish species in their native range. Projects funded include restoration of habitats, unassisted fish passage, elimination of irresponsible aquaculture and pollution.

Aims to ensure the availability and sustainable management of water while simultaneously combating the negative impacts of climate change.
Recreational Fisheries Conservation Partnerships Program
Funds projects that rebuild, restore or rehabilitate recreational fisheries habitat in Canada including stream, lake and floodplain habitat restoration; fish access improvements; ocean habitat restoration; stream channel and bank erosion control and stabilization.
